Paper Weight
The nominal weight of the paper insulation over the transposed, enameled conductors can be calculated as follows:
Weight of Paper (lbs./1000 ft)= 433.5 T (W+H+T) x SG

Paper Separator
A paper separator may be used in a cable when ((Number of Strands-1) * Strand Thickness)/2 >0.375” (9.5mm). The nominal paper thickness shall be 0.003" (.076 mm).
